Quique Setien bets on the trident in the derby
Messi, Suarez and Griezmann will get a new chance to link up together
Barcelona coach Quique Setien does not want surprises against Espanyol and has bet on the trident once more after their fine showing at Villarreal. That's Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann leading the line. They may play with Messi behind Suarez and Griezmann again to try and let the new tactic grow and breathe.
Setien has picked more or less his strongest side for the derby which could see Espanyol relegated to the second division. Ter Stegen in goal, Semedo, Pique, Lenglet and Jordi Alba in defence, Busquets, Rakitic and Sergi Roberto in the middle and Messi, Suarez and Griezmann up front.
Rakitic comes in for Arturo Vidal in midfield and Sergi Roberto gets another run out there, in the position he says is his favourite.
