Provincial Court of Barcelona closes Neymar Case 1

FC Barcelona, through a press release, have announced that the Provincial Court of Barcelona has definitively ratified the pact signed between Barça and the Public Prosecutor’s Office in regards to Neymar Case 1. 

In the statement, Barcelona inform that "this morning the legal representative of FC Barcelona ratified the writ of conclusions and approval in relation to the open proceedings concerning the signing of the player Neymar Jr.

"The ratification of the agreement was signed jointly along with the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the State Attorney’s Office."

In addition, they add that "this agreement will be certified in the decision to be handed down shortly by the Provincial Court of Barcelona, which will close the proceedings stemming from a complaint filed by club member Jordi Casas before the National Court of Spain in December 2013."

Meanwhile, Cadena Ser have informed that the Provincial Court of Barcelona has this Wednesday issued a sentence which condemns Barcelona of two tax offenses and imposes fines of 1.4 and 4.6 million euros. It is a ruling which takes into account a number of mitigating factors, such as compensation for damages and measures to prevent new offenses.
