Digne also took part in training but is no in the squad

Gerard Pique came through Barcelona training on Wednesday and has been named in the squad for Thursday’s trip to Valencia.

Barca travel to Valencia with a 1-0 lead from the first leg of their Copa del Rey semifinal but will need to be at their best to reach the final.

Pique injured his knee against Espanyol and looked set to miss the Mestalla game but has been included in the travelling party by Ernesto Valverde.

The defender trained on Wednesday with his teammates and suffered no ill-affects.

There is also a return to the squad for Andre Gomes, who returns from a stomach problem.

Lucas Digne, who broke a finger at the weekend, is left out, as is Denis Suarez, while Thomas Vermaelen and Ousmane Dembele are both still injured.

The squad: Cillessen, Ter Stegen; Semedo, Roberto, Pique, Umtiti, Mina, Alba; Busquets, Rakitic, Gomes, Iniesta, Paulinho, Coutinho; Vidal, Alcacer, Messi, Suarez.
