The CBF don't want to get into a war with Liverpool coach Klopp

Coutinho has 'recovered' from his injury sine joining up with Brazil

Philippe Coutinho won't play for Brazil against Ecuador. The decision has been taken by the country's coaching staff, headed by Tite, to avoid becoming embroiled in any conflict between Liverpool and Barcelona.

The World Cup qualifier will take place on Thursday into Friday, when the transfer market is just closing in England and while it's still open in Spain for another 24 hours. The future of Coutinho is not likely to have been solved.

The CBF don't want to upset Liverpool, considering the player has not played this season due to injuries, even if Brazil's physios says he's now fit to play. Regardless of what happens with Coutinho, the CBF will still have to deal with Jurgen Klopp regarding Roberto Firmino.

After handing in a transfer request and missing Liverpool's first five games of the season, Coutinho is training with normal with his Brazil teammates this week.

However, Brazil have been able to relax when taking a decision over his availibility. They have already qualified for next summer's World Cup in Russia and are under no pressure to field all their star players.
