Pep Segura and Abidal don't get to watch Frenkie De Jong

Barcelona's sporting directors Pep Segura and Eric Abidal headed to Munich to watch Frenkie de Jong in action for Ajax against Bayern, but we disappointed when the player could not feature because of a muscle injury.

De Jong was not included in Eric ten Hag's squad. The youngster is a big target for Barcelona, who had two offers rejected by Ajax in the summer. Barcelona's sporting directors were at least able to watch Tagliafico and De Ligt, other players at Ajax who interest them.

The Dutch side impressed in a 1-1 draw with Bayern, which they could easily have won after creating a lot of second half chances.
