Paulinho responds to those that doubted his move to Barcelona

Paulinho Bezerra, Barcelona's Brazilian midfielder, has spoke to the club's official media about his first few months in Catalonia. 

Currently with the Brazil squad, Paulinho was asked about the doubrs which surrounded his signing: "I've not come here to shut any mouths, but to work hard for the team, and that's what I am doing.

"A lot of people felt it was difficult for me to come to Barça because I was playing in China. Nevertheless, I have achieved my dream and I am enjoying each day.

"I was a little bit scared about they would receive me, but I have had the best reception possible. I am well adapted and the best thing is the atmosphere away from the pitch. It's like a family." 

As for his style, he calmed fans worried that it signals a change of play at Camp Nou: "There is no one player who can change the Barça philosophy. I have to adapt as best I can to the way the team plays and I know can bring different things to the team."
