The forward spoke about the upcoming derby in Cornella on Sunday

FC Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer faced his former team Valencia for the first time on Thursday in the cup and spoke after the game.

"We scored a goal that gives us an advantage, but the game is far from over. Valencia are a great side and Mestalla is always a difficult place to play.

"Valencia defended well the whole game and had a good match. Now we have to prepare for the second leg, which will be a difficult game. We had little space in their defence, they were well organised and strong and this stopped us scoring more goals. In the end, we have an advantage."

On the derby clash with Espanyol on Sunday he said: "To play away from home is always tricky and if it's a team that wants to go to war like Espanyol, even more so. Espanyol will give it all but we have to continue with our form and take the three points," he told Gol TV.
