Ajax's director of football was making reference to Barça's pursuits of De Jong and De Ligt
After the draw for the Last 16 of the Champions League Ajax's director of football Marc Overmars spoke about FC Barcelona and potential transfer business in the future.
"Everyone in Europe is watching them and Barça must do things correctly," he said in reference to their moves for De Jong and De Ligt. "I don't need to tell them good things about Barça, they already know." The in-demand pair will face Real Madrid in the Last 16.
Before his comments Overmars was seen hugging Barça's UEFA representative, Amador Bernabeu. Overmars also had a long conversation with Manchester City's director of football, Txiki Begiristain, who are also interested in Ajax's superstars.
