An unexpected problem for Ernesto Valverde. Ousmane Dembele finished the game against Rayo with hamstring problems and his participation against Lyon in the Champions League on Wednesday is in serious doubt.
The young French winger has been gaining protagonism at Barca and seemed destined to play against the Ligue 1 side but got hurt during the clash with Rayo.
Barca published a medical statement late Saturday saying he has a minor hamstring strain.
That means he may not be able to play in the crucial UCL last 16 second leg clash at Camp Nou on Wednesday and Barca won’t want to take any risks in case the problem becomes worse.
It means Philippe Coutinho or Malcom might take his place in the line-up for the clash.
