Ousman Dembélé asks Barça to officially negotiate with PSG

This is a step further to continue forcing an agreement between the two clubs

Decisive hours for the transfer of Dembélé. With the player seemingly having agreed terms, the only thing left to iron out is his transfer fee, which remains complicated. The Frenchman has taken the next step, officially asking his club to sit down and negotiate with the Parisians.

It does not seem that Barça are willing to do so. Currently, there are two possible outcomes: PSG pay 50 million euros to trigger his current clause or pay 100 million euros for the clause valid from 1 August. Dembélé and PSG will try to avoid the latter.

Time is on Barça's side

It is clear that time is on the side of the Blaugrana at the moment, whose position is clear: if Ousmane wants to leave, he will only do so by buying his freedom, which tomorrow will be double for the Parisian club, with whom relations are now broken and the conflict is intense.

Barça are even prepared to turn down negotiations even though it could mean more revenue for their coffers. In any case, from tomorrow the terms of the deal will have to be very different and that is a trump card that the culé club are going to play.
