Barça winger Ousman Dembélé's termination clause details

The player signed for two years, until June 2024, with a release clause of 100 million euros

Ousmane Dembélé's future could be far from Camp Nou next season despite having one more year on his contract with FC Barcelona. The player is edging ever closer to joining PSG and Barça are keeping an eye on the French club's final move.

Dembele signed for FC Barcelona for the second time a year ago after being released on 30 June 2022. The Frenchman reached an agreement with the Catalan side on 14 July 2022 and signed a two-year deal until June 2024.

The winger's re-signing altered his €400m termination clause to €100m. However, Barça and Dembélé agreed that until 31 July 2023, if a club puts €50m on the table, they can take the player if he wants to leave the Azulgrana.

Dembélé signed for Barça for the first time in August 2017. He signed for five seasons, until June 2022. During this period, marked by injuries, El Mosquito showed his best version only on a few occasions.

Dembélé is one of Xavi's favourites and it was the coach who asked the club to try and retain the French talent. Despite a great start to last season, the Frenchman's performances were affected by the injury he suffered in January against Girona at Montilivi, with which he missed 17 official matches.

In total, the Frenchman has played 185 official matches for FC Barcelona. He has scored 40 goals, 42 assists and won seven titles: two Copas (2017-18 and 2020-21), three La Liga titles (2017-18, 2018-19 and 2022-23) and two Spanish Super Cups (2018-19 and 2022-23).
