The young defender impressed against Kiev and is expected to line up again on Sunday

Oscar Mingueza started for Barcelona against Kiev in a 4-0 win for his debut and is set to keep his place for the weekend. He paid back Ronald Koeman's faith in him and with the team lacking centre-backs, can keep establishing himself.

The 21 year old has been at Barca since he was eight years old. "He has a lot of chance of playing on Sunday," said Koeman. "He can play more games. He's shown we can count on him. He should work hard to get minutes, but he gave us a good impression. He's been training with us for weeks and has had the chance to play."

He made a good block and got the assist for Martin Braithwaite's first goal with a flick-on. He was impeccable defensively, intercepting six balls.

Mingueza also played 18 passes to his centre back partner Lenglet, 13 to Pjanic, 12 to Dest and 12 to Trincao.
