The Ajax goalkeeper, formerly of La Masia, spoke after his team-mate's move to Barcelona
Andre Onana was one of the persons that helped Frenkie de Jong sign for Barcelona. The Ajax goalkeeper, who played in La Masia, advised him from the word go to come to Camp Nou. That's why he's satisfied now the transfer has been made official.
Speaking to Ajaxlife, the keeper was asked if he was jealous of De Jong. "Wow, no, why would I be jealous? I was one of the people that advised him to choose Barca," said the stopper. "I am very happy for him. It's fantastic that he is going to Barcelona. We spoke about the city, the club and much more. I am not jealous."
Onana and De Jong are good friends. "We played together in the Ajax B team, in the first team, and now he's going to Barca. It's fantastic, really nice."
