The United coach doesn't understand why his team face Barca on Wed then Tues

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has complained that his team’s Champions League quarter-final second leg clash with Barcelona is on Tuesday rather than Wednesday, when the teams played the first leg on Wednesday.

"I don't understand that. Someone needs to explain why other teams have one day extra," Solskjaer said. "We tried to Google that.

“Should Uefa change that? Definitely, 100%. Someone needs to explain why a Wednesday night first leg becomes a Tuesday second leg in the Champions League."

However Uefa rules say each club will play the same number of games across both nights.

Barcelona hold a 1-0 lead ahead of the second leg at Camp Nou on Tuesday. Barca drew 0-0 at Huesca on Saturday, rotating all their players, while Man United beat West Ham 2-1 with more than a few who will start on Tuesday featuring.
