The French forward underwent medical tests and it was discovered he had suffered another hamstring injury
Ousmane Dembélé is injured. The worst fears has been confirmed by FC Barcelona this morning. The French winger will be out for around a month after medical tests this morning confirmed he had suffered yet another hamstring injury.
An official medical report from the club said the following: "Ousmane Dembélé has undergone tests with the FC Barcelona Medical Services on Thursday morning and it has been confirmed that he has torn the femoral biceps muscle in his left hamstring. This means he will be out of action for an expected three or four weeks.
The French striker was on for the last twenty minutes of Wednesday’s 5-1 victory over Olympique Lyonnais in the Champions League round of 16, coming off the bench to convert the last goal of a memorable night of football."
Dembele will now miss the LaLiga matches against Real Betis, Espanyol, Villarreal and probably Atletico Madrid. He's also a serious doubt for the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals.
