OFFICIAL: Date and time confirmed for Athletic-Barça in the Copa
The quarter final match will be decided on the night at the 'Nuevo San Mamés'
Athletic Club will host FC Barcelona in the quarter-final of the Copa del Rey on the 6th February at 21:00 (local time). Quique Setien's team will then face Real Betis, at the Benito Villamarin stadium, the following weekend in LaLiga.
This section of the competition will continue to be one-off matches.
The other three contests in the Copa del Rey are:
- Granada-Valencia (Tuesday 4th, 21.00 h)
- Mirandés-Villarreal (Wednesday 5th, 21.00 h)
- Real Madrid-Real Sociedad (Thursday 6th, 21.00 h)
The semi-finals will return to the traditional two-legged format with the provisional dates of those matches set for 11th and 12th February (1st leg) and 3rd and 4th March (2nd leg).
As things stand, the final of the tournament will take place on the 18th April at an as-yet undecided location. Last year's final between Barça and Valencia was held at the Benito Villamarin stadium.
