The number that Atletico Madrid want from Barca for Joao Felix

Joao Félix said in mid-July, when the market was just beginning to boil over: "I would love to play for Barça. It has always been my first choice and I would love to join Barça. It has always been my wish since I was a kid. If that happens, it would be a dream come true for me," he said, breaking the deadlock and practically forcing Atlético to loan the player to the Blaugrana. 

Logically and due to the bad relationship between Simeone and the Portuguese, the Colchoneros wanted a sale and, moreover, they had clubs interested in it, with good offers. Also from Saudi Arabia, which was the country that animated (and inflated) the summer market. However, there was no real option because Joao Félix had already declared his love for Barça. 

In the meantime, the striker with the soul of a midfielder, or midfielder with the soul of a striker (it's a matter of taste) is proving that he was right in his approach. Since his arrival, Barça have grown offensively and the player himself has also taken a step forward, confirming that he was right and that the Blaugrana ecosystem suits him like a glove.

In fact, it is so obvious that even Atlético are celebrating. The reason is that they are clear that if the dynamic is maintained and Joao Felix continues to complete performances as he is doing, his economic value grows and, therefore, the intention to sell him remains intact and, moreover, the figure may be more important.

According to a report published in 'AS', the Colchoneros value the Portuguese player at 80 million euros, which would be the figure that, next summer, they will ask any club that wants to get their hands on his services. It will be then when the player's own position and that of Barça will be put to the test again. But that will be a new chapter in this story.
