Granada vs. Barcelona: Strikers Pau Victor & Marc Guiu called up
The youngsters have been called up to help with the absence of the injured Lewandowski
Xavi Hernández has had to put together a very special squad for the important match against Granada. FC Barcelona want to go into the international break with a win and, above all, a convincing performance. But it won't exactly be a bed of roses.
Barça travel to Granada depleted by the absence of players who are vital for the coach. Xavi will have to improvise a starting XI. In the squad he has announced, he has not been able to include four pillars in Frenkie de Jong, Pedri, Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski.
All four will miss the duel due to injuries and we will see how they evolve during the international break. They will have to step up a gear as after the international fixtures there will be a tight schedule, with the derby against Real Madrid on the horizon.
Without the four players for Granada, Xavi has had to pull from the youth ranks to complete the list. Pau Víctor, the Barça Atlètic '9', and Marc Guiu, from the youth team, are two of the new additions.
