Neymar tells Leonardo: "I want to leave"
The Brazilian is convinced his time at the club has come to an end but PSG won't make it easy for him
Neymar remains convinced that his time at PSG has come to an end and let their director of football, Leonardo, know just that. During the meeting the pair held yesterday, Neymar said: "I'm just confirming to you that I want to leave."
According to SPORT sources, Leonardo wanted to hear Neymar confirm that he wanted a move.
'Le Parisien' claim that Barcelona weren't mentioned at all during the brief meeting, although it's hardly a secret the Brazilian wants a Camp Nou return.
Now everyone's cards have been put on the table, it could see negotiations speed up in the next few weeks. Barça are willing to include Coutinho, Dembélé, Umtiti or Rakitic if it considerably reduces the asking price.
Despite Neymar's clear desire to leave, PSG won't make it easy. They have invested a lot of money into his signing - and wages - and will only sanction a sale if the deal benefits them.
