Judge Jose de la Mata decided they would face the court at an as yet unscheduled date

Neymar, his parents, Bartomeu, Rosell, Barça and Santos are all implicated in the proceedings

Neymar will stand trial for alleged fraud and corruption in the deal that took him from Santos to Barcelona in 2013.

Spanish National Court judge Jose de la Mata ordered the Brazilian forward, his parents, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu, his predecessor Sandro Rosell, and both Barcelona and Santos to stand trial for ‘business corruption and fraud’.

Spanish prosecutors are recommending a two-year sentence for Neymar along with a hefty 10 million euro fine.

Investment fund DIS are bringing the case after they clam they were short-changed because they were owed 40 per cent of the transfer fee, which was allegedly concealed in part by the various accused parties.
