The German forward felt Bayern were even more dominant than that Germany side

Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller, who scored twice in Friday's 8-2 win over Barcelona, reckons the Germans were even more dominant in the win than Germany were in their 7-1 win against Brazil at the World Cup in 2014.

"Today we were more superior than against Brazil," he said. "The important thing is that we did what we planned. The atmosphere and mood among the team is good, everyone's pulling in the same direction.

"Against Brazil at the World Cup, we didn't have everything under control, we were playing in Brazil. Today we had an excellent first half.

"[Brazil] was something that happened, but we're not talking about that, we're talking about today. It was a special night, the result and the way we played was special.

"The best thing was seeing the substitutes with the same attitude and joy. The important thing is to do what we want on the pitch and that everyone gives everything.

"It's a big statement, but the next game starts at 0-0. It doesn't matter. I know other teams see our games, and we have to win to make the final. We have to be calm, relaxed and very happy."
