The Catalans have been linked with a move for the England U19 international

Barcelona are following young Brighton goalkeeper Carl Rushworth, who plays for England U19s, according to the Daily Mirror.

Rushworth, 18, is currently on loan at Worthing FC from Brighton, who he has played six games for in Premier League 2.

He's a goalkeeper who's tipped to have a big future, with the Mirror explaining that he's part of the England set-up and has played for Brighton at U23 level already.

Dan Ashworth, the English FA's former technical director who now has the same role at Brighton, feels Rushworth could go far in the game. A first-team call up has not been ruled out.

As for Barca's first team, they're well covered with Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Neto, while Iñaki Peña and Arnau Tenas are also tipped to have bright futures.
