Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has become one of the most wanted players in Europe following his exploits in Serie A and the Champions League this season.
Barcelona are one of the clubs keen on Lautaro but they are not alone. The Spanish champions have made the Argentine their top target this summer as they continue to seek a long-term successor for Luis Suarez and it looks like they're in a good position.
English newspaper the Daily Star has reported on Friday that Lautaro has ruled out a move to the Premier League, where there's interest from Manchester United and Manchester City, in favour of a move to Barça.
He has a release clause of €111 million which comes into effect during the first two weeks of July. Inter want to renew his contract and increase that clause. There have been talks over a new deal but nothing more.
The Star added that City see him as the heir to Sergio Aguero, while United were prepared to include Paul Pogba in any potential deal. Lautaro, though, is said to want to join international teammate Lionel Messi in Barcelona.
