Marlon Santos could take Gerard Pique's place at Las Palmas
The Brazilian will travel to the Canaries with the first team on Sunday
Pique is missing with a stomach problem, he hasn't trained all week
Barça B defender Marlon Santos will be one of the players called up by Luis Enrique for the penultimate league game of the season against Las Palmas on Sunday.
With Gerard Pique missing with a stomach virus, Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has confirmed Brazilian youngster Marlon Santos is an option to take his place in Gran Canaria.
Marlon and Carles Aleña are the two Barça B players who are likely to be with the first team, who are also without injured trio Rafinha, Aleix Vidal and Jeremy Mathieu and the suspended Sergi Roberto.
During his pre-game press conferecne, Luis Enrique said: "Of course Marlon is one of the options [to fill in for Pique]. I have a lot of options and we are ready for the challenge of working out how to solve the situation [in defence]."
One option is to play a back three and Luis Enrique said that may be what he does, but he didn't give any clues away.
