Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have been chasing him this summer
Dani Ceballos has chosen to sign for Real Madrid, according to Marca. The Real Betis midfielder, impressive at the U21 Euros, has reached a deal with Los Blancos to sign a contract for the next six seasons.
There are still some details to close, says the same source, with the deal not set to be made official until Monday, after he has passed a medical test. Real madrid will pay over 15m euros, his release fee clause to Betis, for Ceballos. The transfer of Ceballos will cost them 18m euros over three installments.
Ceballos and Betis, therefore, have rejected Barcelona.
