Tello tells Ceballos he would get more opportunities at Barcelona
The former Barça winger told his new team-mate to mvoe to Camp Nou
Both Barcelona and Real Madrid want to sign Ceballos from Real Betis
Cristian Tello is clear: if Dani Ceballos wants to keep progressing next season it should be in Barcelona coulours. The former Barça forward, now of Real Betis, said as much on COPE.
Tello was asked if he'd spoken with new team-mate Ceballos about Barça and Real Madrid's interest: "I've not spoke with him, but I would say go to Barça. At Barça he would have more opportunities than with Madrid."
The ex-Barça man said of his decision to move to Betis: "I wanted to play more minutes and with the three up front -- Messi, Suarez and Neymar -- it is impossible [at Camp Nou]. I left because I want to feel important in a team."
Reports in Madrid say Friday could be a key day in Ceballos' future. Real have been in touch with Betis to try to finalise a deal, while Barça also remain in the hunt for the talented Spain U21 international.
