Man City have called up Barca striker Antoine Griezmann
Pep is said to have spoken to Griezmann about a possible move to England
Antoine Griezmann’s future could be in the Premier League, at Manchester City.
According to the French website Footmercato, Pep Guardiola has already called the forward to find out about his situation.
Ronald Koeman says he counts on all his players but did not confirm whether Griezmann would be staying.
On the call between Pep and Griezmann the coach is said to have asked his availability for next season. Griezmann’s on the agenda along with another top forward in Harry Kane, in the Euro 2020 final.
Griezmann leaving would help Barcelona a lot when it comes to lowering their salary base. However the same source says Griezmann is not planning to go.
Man City are interested in a forward precisely because Kun Aguero left to join Barcelona themselves.
