Lyon hand the number 10 shirt to Barça target Memphis Depay
Depay takes the '10' shirt from Traore and Lyon fans believe he might stay at the club
Memphis Depay remains on FC Barcelona's wish list but Lyon supporters are more hopeful their captain will stay after he was handed a new shirt number. Ronald Koeman admits he wants Depay at Barça but a lack of funds has put the deal on hold.
Kadewere takes over Depay's previous '11' shirt whilst Memphis moves to the '10' worn previously by Alexandre Lacazette and Fleury Di Nallo. Bertrand Traore was the previous owner of the '10' shirt but he is on the verge of a Lyon exit too.
Lyon fans see this as a sign he might reject the move to Barça and sign a new deal at the club. They find it difficult to believe he would ask for a new number if he was planning to leave.

Reports in Depay's native Holland claim a €25m transfer to Barça is practically complete. Yet Lyon's president, Jean-Michel Aulas, insists that Barça don't have the funds available.
