Lucas Digne: Messi shows each day he's the best in the world
The Frenchman scored his first Champions League goal
Digne also said the coach is doing a good job this season
Barcelona are doing well under Ernesto Valverde and it means squad players like Lucas Digne, Andre Gomes and Gerard Deulofeu are coming into the fold.
The left-back played 90 minutes and scored Barcelona's third goal of the night, helping give the Catalans breathing room after Gerard Pique's sending off.
"If I can help with a goal it's good, but the important thing is that we win," said Digne. "All the players do everything we can do win everything. The team shows each week that we are expressing ourselves collectively."
The former Roma defender is pleased with Valverde. "The coach is doing a very good job. We are winning everything at the moment and that's thanks in part to his work and that of the staff.
"I do everything to get into the coaches plans and I will keep working for that. I want to give everything to help the team how I can."
On Messi, he added: "Leo is the best player in the world and, on top of that, he shows it in every game."
