Messi scored twice and Rakitic once, while Sergio Ramos was sent off
Barcelona travel to Real Madrid for the Clasico on Sunday in a pivotal game in the title race. The two giants of Spanish football will kick off at 20.45h (CET) at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Luis Enrique's side go into the game three points back from Madrid, although a win would take them top. Zinedine Zidane's men do still have a game in hand away at Celta Vigo, though.
Madrid may also be distracted in the title run in by the Champions League. They play Atletico over two legs in the semi-final at the start of May, while Barça's European dream was ended by Juventus this week.
