Suarez, Iniesta and Dani Alaves have all provided the Argentine with 40 each
Luis Suarez is Lionel Messi’s friend, sharing with him the South American drink mate before the game, living next to him and picking their kids up from school together.
He has also given Messi 40 assists, 29 in La Liga, 2 in the Copa, 8 in the Champions League, 1 in the Super Cup.
Luis Enrique said it best. “From the first day we’ve been able to see there’s chemistry between them,” said the Asturian.

Andres Iniesta also gave Messi 40 assists, ahead of Xavi’s 32.
In the current Barca team, Jordi Alba is the beneficiary of Messi’s passes, the man that the Argentine always looks for.
