Lionel Messi can't stop. After lifting his sixth Ballon d'Or to show fans at the Camp Nou, he hit a hat-trick against Mallorca. That took him to first in the Pichichi standings, on 12 goals, ahead of Karim Benzema.
Messi didn't score in the first seven league games as he had a slow start because of his injury, but soon got fit and firing and launched himself into the top end of the rankings.
