How Lionel Messi's leg looked after Pulido's tackle

The Argentine suffered a studding but scored two goals in the 4-1 win

One of the images of the first half of Barca’s 4-1 win over Huesca at Camp Nou on Monday was Lionel Messi’s leg. The Barca captain was tackled by Huesca’s Pulido, who raked his studs into Messi’s right leg in the 19th minute.

The No 10 was able to continue and, having already broken the deadlock with a brilliant goal, added another late on.

Messi equalled Xavi’s record of 767 games for the club, and his former team-mate paid tribute in an emotional video made by Barcelona.

Antoine Griezmann scored Barca’s second and Oscar Mingueza the third, after Rafa Mir pulled one back from the penalty spot, and Messi finished off the win late on.
