The Italian side will give the midfielder and a new contract

Juventus hope to tie Miralem Pjanic down to a new deal to keep Barcelona and other European clubs away from the Bosnian midfielder.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve chief Agnelli is ready to improve his contract to convince him, along with Paulo Dybala, to become a key part of the side in the coming years.

The Old Lady want to show their faith in Pjanic and demonstrate how much they want him to stay in Turin.

For that reason, they will offer him an additional two years on his contract and a salary of six million euros, plus bonuses, per year -- an improvement on the four and a half million he currently earns.

Pjanic, 28, has never said he wants to leave and the club appreciate his positive attitude.

Both Barça and Real Madrid have followed his career closely and would be keen on signing him if he were to ever become available.
