Jorge Messi is in Barcelona. Leo Messi's father - and agent - arrived early on Wednesday morning at the Aeropuerto de El Prat, where he was greeted by a horde of journalists.
Messi, who took a flight from Rosario, is expected to meet with Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu in the next few years to discuss Leo's future.
"I don't know anything guys," is all Jorge Messi told reporters.
Leo believes he has cancelled his contract with Barça and is free to leave whereas Bartomeu wants to offer him a new deal until the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The meeting between Bartomeu and Jorge Messi is key to figuring out where Leo's future lies. Manchester City, alongside Juventus, are awaiting any further developments as they hope any solution won't involve going through the court system. Messi didn't appear for the round of PCR testing nor did he attend the first training session under Ronald Koeman on Monday.
