Jordi Alba comes out in defence of Sergio Ramos

Jordi Alba came out in defence of Sergio Ramos after the doping stories leaked recently.
"There are few professionals like him, he gives his life for Madrid and the national team," said Alba. "I think he's right and it's not true what they say. I'm not arguing but I don't like if they're talking smack."
Alba also spoke about his new contract, where little progress is being made.
"No news, it's something which is still there. I don't know what the club think of me, it's a bit strange because there's not long left. My intention is to end my career here. Let's see. I don't know what the directors' intentions are or when they will think it's convenient to call me, if they think it is..."
On the 1-1 draw at Atletico, he added: "They have players to play more attacking football, in my opinion, but that's the style which has given them success and they won't change it. They defend really well, it's difficult to break them down. And they're looking for the counters... We tried. It's not easy to attack a team that sits back with two lines of five."
