Joan Laporta and Pedri, a tale of two autographs
They had met many years earlier when Pedri was a small boy
From getting Joan Laporta’s autograph on his shirt as a kid, to putting his own on one of the most important documents in Barça’s recent history. Pedri signed a new deal until 2026, alongside the president.
As a kid, he and his brother Fer met Laporta in Tegueste, during his first reign as president.
Laporta headed to the island to visit the fan club there, headed by Peri’s father.
“In a visit I made as president to Tegueste we met and I signed you a shirt. Look how things change. It’s now you who signs them,” joked Laporta.
