Valverde spoke about the midfielder's social media posts
Barecelona coach Ernesto Valverde has dealt with Arturo Vidal after the midfielder took to social media to express his dissatisfaction at his lack of game time.
Despite Vidal denying they were aimed at Barça, Valverde said before Saturday's game against Sevilla that the subject has been broached.
However, the coach said he would not reveal in public how the conversation between the two went.
"We have the idea to solve the problems we have inside the dressing room, not outside, and we will keep things that way," he said in a press conference on Friday.
"Yes, I have spoken with Arturo Vidal, of course, but I won't detail about what. We try to deal with things this way so there's not so much drama generated, like there has been in the last few weeks."
Vidal posted two messages on Instagram after being a substitute in the win over Tottenham and the draw against Valencia.
The Chilean is unhappy with how much playing time he's had since his summer arrival from Bayern Munich. However, speaking in Miami last week, he said the posts weren't related to Barcelona.
