Ivan Rakitic: I don't have any problem with asking for forgiveness
The Croatian was one of those criticised for his performance at Liverpool
Ivan Rakitic was one of the players who spoke to the media after the 2-0 win over Getafe. The debacle at Anfield is still fresh in everyone's mind and Rakitic went to the Seville festival and was photographed there having a good time - some did not like it.
"I have no problem asking for forgiveness," said Rakitic. "I'm a father and husband and the family is the most important thing. I went to Sevilla to see my family. I'm very open and they asked me for a photo, but on the pitch I give 100 per cent and I want the best for the club.
On the visit of two Boixos Nois to his house, Rakitic said: "I don't understand how it reached the media. Two people came and there were no problems, and they told me that they wanted to give me a plaque of recognition."
