Inter Milan are getting more and more optimistic about Lautaro Martinez staying. The Italians are convinced that Barcelona's economic situation won't allow them to pay his 111m euro release clause.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Barca have not made a competitive offer for Lautaro. Like all Spanish clubs, Barca have to have balance between incoming and outgoings. This limit is conditioned by the club's budget, which Barcelona will find out at the start of July - the limit they can spend without incomings bolstering that figure.
Coutinho, Todibo, Arthur and Semedo are potential sales but none have become concrete operations.
Inter have already sold Icardi to PSG for around 55m euros, so have no urgency when it comes to cash. They went 85m plus Junior Firpo from Barca, which the Catalans will not go to.
