The Italian media are still publishing stories about the Argentine forward

Leo Messi is enjoying days off in Ibiza with his family, but in Italy the rumours persist about his possible arrival at Inter Milan. An operation which the Argentine, through his people, keep denying, conscious that his future is a matter of top importance.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Inter's dream of signing Messi still exists after they came second in Serie A. They think he could still trade Camp Nou for the San Siro, with Suning, who own the Italians since 2016, desperate to bring him in.

They say the owners "the Zhang family, have the money to pull close to Juventus and respond to Cristiano Ronaldo."

They also say that Jorge Messi has "taken part of his business to Milan from August". This could be a factor that helps them bring in the forward.

They say "Messi has not broken ties with Barcelona and for now a goodbye from the Catalans seems impossible" but that "he has not renewed his contract" and on June 30 next year, he can leave for free.

"Papa Jorge will be the precursor and maybe he will work to bring his son to Inter in a year, when he can leave for free," said the article.
