This is advice from Ezequiel D'Angelo, who used to play for Manchester City, to Leo

Leo Messi has seemingly decided to leave FC Barcelona and a reunion with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City appears to be his most likely destination. This has caused yet more sadness and frustration against a fan base which recently saw their side crushed 8-2 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League and ended the season trophyless.

Ahead of the rumours linking Messi with a move to City a fellow Argentine footballer, Ezequiel D'Angelo, has given his verdict on the move. He spent a brief period of time in 2011 with City and advises Leo to pick another country to play in.

D'Angelo, who now plays for Deportivo Morón, claims it was a nice experience to wear City's shirt but it wasn't all good. "I had only just turned professional and I went there for a week's trial which ended up lasting a month. It was a nice story and I'm proud of it. I don't blame anyone for not being able to stay longer," he told TT Sports.

A cold city where every house looks the same and it rains every day

D'Angelo admits he found the English climate difficult to adjust to. "What sticks with me is that it rained the whole month. It's a cold city and all the houses look the same. It's difficult to what we are used to. I had the chance to stay in Barcelona and the cities are completely different."

He also spoke about the differences between the fans in England and Argentina. "In terms of the supporters, English ones are very respectful and most don't shout. It's more of a show if we compare to football in Argentina."

"He'd enjoy himself much more at PSG"

The conversation about Messi continued and D'Angelo said what he would do if he was in Leo's position. "If he was single, I'd tell him not to go to Manchester. But he's married and has a family. It'll be a new experience, he'll learn a new style of play, meet new teammates and maybe he needs a change of scenery. Maybe he's no longer happy in Barcelona."

"If he feels he will be happy in England, go there, but he won't like the climate. It would be better if he went to PSG, Neymar's there too, and they could have a lot more fun."
