"I don't believe we are going to make a move for Pogba this month"
Ariedo Braida dismisses the possibility of signing Pogba during this window but admits that the midfielder is "a great player"
Paul Pogba won't be the last signing Barcelona make before the summer transfer window closes. That is what Ariedo Braida, the sporting asessor at the club, said and has since been published in the English press. Braida praised the quality of the French midfielder but doesn't see him playing for Barcelona any time soon.
Pogba has been linked with a move to Barcelona due to his unhappiness in England and Barca haven't ruled out signing another midifelder before the close of the transfer window. The French international fits the profile Ernesto Valverde is after but it appears his arrival won't happen until January at the earliest.
"I don't believe we are going to make a move for Pogba," Braida confessed to the 'Daily Mirror'. The Italian is referring to a transfer being done before the end of August. Braida also admitted that the Manchester United man is "a great player".
Braida revealed a few days ago that Rafinha was going to stay in the first team squad at Barcelona after being a starter for Valverde in the Spanish Super Cup victory over Sevilla.
