How Barcelona's squad looks for the 2019-2020 season

Ernesto Valverde has 21 first team players plus the B team and Juvenil A

Barcelona kicked off the transfer window with the signings of Frenkie de Jong and Antoine Griezmann but things have slowed down since then.

The club did move for Neymar, but were unable to get Paris Saint-Germain to sell, and will have to wait until 2020 to try and sign him again.

Griezmann, instead, remains their big attacking signing at €120 million from Atletico Madrid, while De Jong arrived for €75m from Ajax. At €195m for the pair, they represent 81.6 percent of the €239 million spent his summer.

TWO STARTERS

In addition to those two, Barça have also added two squad players. Neto (€26m + €9m in add-ons) arrives to replace Jasper Cillessen and provide competition for Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Junior Firpo (€18m + €12m in add-ons) joins to compete at left-back with Jordi Alba. Right-back Moussa Wague is promoted from the B team.

However, there are also three more B team and U19 team players regularly training and, in some cases, playing at the moment: Carles Perez, Ansu Fati and Iñaki Peña.

Of all those names, though, Griezmann and De Jong are the only regulars.

MALCOM, TTHE BIGGEST SALE

As for outgoings, Thomas Vermaelen joined Vissel Kobe for free, while Douglas also left for nothing. Andre Gomes joined Everton for €25m after a successful loan spell.

Denis Suarez moved to Celta, as did Rafinha, albeit only on loan. Philippe Coutinho also left on loan, joining Bayern for €8.5m for the year. The German club have an option to buy. Cillessen joined Valencia for €35m and Malcom was sold to Zenit for more than €40m, the club's biggest sale of the summer. Murillo and Boateng also left after loan spells.
