The new B team coach believes "if we do things right we have a chance to stay up"

Francisco Javier Garcia Pimienta is looking forward to coaching Barcelona B, which he called "a huge challenge" as he has six games to save the team from relegation.

The new coach is convinced the team can avoid the drop.

"With the squad Barça B has, everything is easier. If we do things right, we'll have a chance."

"There is a lot of quality in the squad. I have the ideal players to be able to make the team perform. I don't understand play in any other way with the profile of these players. They combine very well with each other, they create space and get into the box."

"I want dynamism, to progress in midfield and take our chances," added the coach on the team's philosophy.

"The challenge is a huge one, the hardest challenge I've faced. Although personally for me the challenge is to have players that are good enough to play for the first team if necessary, for them to be able to perform for the best team in the world. I always wanted to be Barça B coach and now that time has come."
