First contact from Frenkie de Jong with Barca's dressing room
The Ajax player said he has spoken with some of his new Barcelona team-mates ahead of his switch
Barcelona's big signing for next season, Frenkie de Jong, is excited to get going at the club. And he confessed it after helping Ajax beat Venio 6-0 in the Eredivisie. He said he has spoken to some of his new team-mates.
"It's true I've had contact with some people in the Barcelona dressing room, I've spoken to some team-mates, but it would be uncouth to give names," said De Jong.
"I've said it many times, Barca has always been my dream." He rejected clubs like Man City and PSG to come to the Camp Nou.
"They have a good project for me and will give me the chance to play a bit. For that I thought they were the best option."
De Jong aded: "I think that I'll enjoy it when I start to play there."
