Finally OFFICIAL: Barça complete Aubameyang signing on free transfer
The former Arsenal player has joined Barcelona on a 3.5 year deal
Barcelona have finally confirmed the signing of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a free transfer after he left Arsenal on Monday.
Aubameyang flew into Barcelona on Monday and completed a medical and signed his contract but Barça had to wait until Wednesday to officially register him.
He has already trained twice with his new teammates after signing a contract until 2025 and could feature against Atletico Madrid this weekend.
"FC Barcelona and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have reached an agreement for the player to join the club after the striker terminated his contract with Arsenal FC," a statement read Wednesday.
"The play will sign a contract until 30 June 2025 with an option to agree departure on 30 June 2023 and his buy out clause will be set at 100 million euros."
