Atletico Madrid legend Fernando Torres has been speaking about the future of Antoine Griezmann, a target for Barcelona.
Torres said he would like Griezmann to stay at Atletico, but he also understands that it's normal that clubs speak with players.
The striker was asked about the situation after Atletico reported Barça to FIFA on Tuesday for making an illegal approach for the France international.
"It's not a secret that it always happens... but I'm not saying it's the case here," he said about if Barça had approached Griezmann in an interview with Radio Marca.
On Griezmann's future, he added: "Atletico can sign and maintain the world’s best players, as we have shown.
“Griezmann is still here at the club and we all want him to stay of course, but you would have to ask him on his future and what he wants to do next."
