The club's Commercial Area report historic figures with contributions ranging from ticket sales to new sponshorship deals

FC Barcelona continue to be strangled by Financial Fair Play and economic constraints when approaching new signings to revamp Xavi's squad. It's not all bad news though, an all-time record in sales has just been announced in the Commercial Area.

The club issued a statement announcing that the club has registered historic figures in the commercial side of things. To the surprise of many the numbers have surpassed the income of the last pre-pandemic season by 4%.

The highlight was the record turnover in men's and women's football and basketball tickets. At the Spotify Camp Nou, revenues of 97.6 million euros were recorded and more than one million tickets were sold for the first time in the club's history.

Barça also closed the current season with a 54% increase in sales in physical shops, especially in men's football kits. In addition, these revenues have allowed the number of existing shops to increase from six to fourteen.

Finally, the club has also achieved record revenue from the acquisition of new sponsorship deals, such as the Spotify one, all of which have entailed this. In addition, other agreements such as those with PRIME or Ambilight TV also contributed to these surprising figures.
