Barcelona open to accepting Saudi offer for Kessié but nothing closed

Barcelona have found an unexpected option to bring in big money for Frank Kessié, but the deal is still up in the air. Al-Nassr, who have already made official contact with the Catalan club, are considering a deal but they have other candidates to strengthen their midfield and have yet to make a decisive move for Kessié. Barça are willing to sell for €30 million and the player would open the door to an exit as long as he has a big salary, but there is still no agreement and the operation will not be closed imminently.

Kessié's agent, George Atangana, had a meeting in Barcelona with Barça's sports department to analyse the situation and establish the criteria for a possible exit this week. Atangana made it very clear that the player's priority is to stay with the LaLiga champions and to continue fighting for his place, but he did close the door to listen to an offer from Sadui as long as it was stratospheric. He even demanded part of the transfer fee, considering that the player joined Barça on a free transfer last summer.

Barça understood the message and received confirmation from Al-Nassr of their interest in the player. And now they have to negotiate to try to reach an agreement with very clear figures. In Saudi, there is talk of a trip by Al-Nsasr to Barcelona, but for now it has not been confirmed, although there has been direct communication. Nothing more.
